The forecast looked good but a bitl lighter than of late. Arrived after 3 and it was very busy - a sunny Sunday at Hayling was never going to be anything else. Plus it looked windy with white caps on the water. I rigged and hit the water - 5.5 was spot on.

After 15 minutes or so there were some lulls and I started to think it might be all over. Blubbed around for a bit then the wind came back and for the rest of the afternoon/early evening I was hooning.

Nice easy conditions, warmish water, enough ramps to keep me amused and plenty of gybes, many dry and even dare I say it moderately stylish.

A fine end to the best week in living memory (o.k. I suffer from Alzheimers).
